Imagine my excitment and dissapointment at the same moment when this letter reached me.
"The picture of the woman's hair on your web site looks like a
hair piece."

All these years of work and people now ask me if I am Spanish. Why? Because somehow the world (that includes ourselves) believes it is unnatural for black women to have thick long hair.
Thank you for visiting, you are going to help me change these preconceptions!

It took me over FORTY years to make this discovery.
It's about time black women knew how to grow their hair. Let's just start by throwing away all of those products of promise. NOTHING THAT COMES IN A JAR OR BOTTLE WILL GROW HAIR. If it did, your hair would be very long. Don't you agree?

WHAT IS THE PRODUCT?
"Black Women Rejoice" is finally the answer to the question "How do you grow a black woman's hair?" It's the "Owners Manual" they forgot to issue when you started doing your own hair. It is a report for black people only. If you want to call this report a product, then it's the last product you will buy to grow healthy hair. People that haven't seen me in several months, at first glance, think my hair is fake because of its length now. It went from short to longer in a short amount of time. All I have done is write down every step I took and still take. Start with a before picture like I did. Then tell me in three months if there is not an obvious difference. No gimmicks. No scams. No outrageous promises. You can contact me after six months with your before and after pictures and we hope to add you to the web page.

I tried to explain to a white associate of mine the difficulties we black women experience with our hair. It took me no less than an hour to explain just the difficulties we endure trying to get our hair to conform and grow. I was not discussing solutions with him; I just wanted him to grasp the basics. The information appeared to slip into his incomprehensible, non-issue data bank. He walked away dazed and still could not understand black hair concepts. How could he? When was the last time he had to worry about setting aside two hours to do his hair? When preparing for HAIR DAY, who but us has to designate the proper location, the right hair dryer, the right straightening apparatus, the best curling contraption, or make last minute humid day hair style decisions? How often will he have to stress about his hair having a mind of its own when he's late for work?

Enough about getting others to understand. It won't happen. Let us not forget what is never far from our thoughts: a search for THE product that will grow our hair! If you cannot relate to the life I have just described, you are in the wrong place.

If you weren't born with nappy hair, YOU ARE IN THE WRONG PLACE. Curly, wavy, tangled hair does not count. If you are bald or balding, you will not find your answers here. Only nappy-headed survivors can appreciate the information this report examines.

"Secrets to Successful Hair Growth, The Book"

Here are two of many issues addressed in the NINETY-FIVE page report. The first issue is to answer question #2 above. Let's talk about the combs we use.

You probably do not spend a great deal of time thinking about the comb you use. Just so you know, I can't sleep at night knowing how it can be destroying your hair. Pull out your comb and take a look at it now. Wide-tooth, small-tooth; it doesn't matter. If you are ripping your hair out with it , it's too small. Okay, that's the obvious. Now imagine, if you will, this comb being manufactured by the selling company. A mold of the comb is designed. Molten plastic is poured into the mold and cooled. Please listen carefully; this is one reason why your hair won't grow. The mold is separated and the comb is now ready for use and sold to you. Look carefully at the seam that runs down the center of the handle. That seam also runs down the teeth and through your hair. Now reach for that microscope and place one tooth under the lens. Do you see that? It looks like a jagged shelf protruding out from the tooth. That shelf allowed to run through your cottony soft hair will work like hedge trimmers. Every day. Several times a day. You, yes you, have been aiding and abetting this criminal act against your hair, slicing and dicing the hair shaft. Why our hair and not anyone else's? Our wonderful hair wraps itself around the comb, the fingers, and itself with deliberate attachment. Other ethnic hair falls away from the comb resisting the urge to cling, attach, and rip. Well, before you toss that comb, there is something you can do...

Here is number two. If you read nothing else, read this. This is something all black women need to be aware of the next time they visit the hairdresser.

What is the first rule of relaxing hair? Always use a neutralizing shampoo. What is the second rule of relaxing? Only relax new growth. Now think carefully about your last visit to the hairdresser. This one is for you also hairdressers. When was the last time your hair dresser stopped at new growth only? OK. Yes, I am going somewhere with this. What is the short hair at the nape of your neck called? ... New growth. What is the short hair at the nape of your neck called at your next relaxing? RELAXED HAIR. Can you legally relax the short hair at the nape of your neck a second time? ... NO. Why do we have hair at the nape of our neck that never grows? It is disintegrating due to the overrelaxing. Are relaxers the culprit or are our procedures causing us the real problems? If we were to follow relaxing directions to the letter, we would never relax hair at the nape of our neck until that hair at least had the opportunity to grow out two inches and then we would ONLY RELAX THE NEW GROWTH. When you have the rest of your hair relaxed, is more than new growth getting slapped with relaxer mix? If yes, then it's about time you take charge and investigate the relaxing procedure and start following directions. relaxers are not the enemy. That is why I still use them. The inability to follow directions will always prove destructive, no matter what the endeaver. Some women, for reasons other than style, cannot relax their hair. I just want you to know I understand that. I am not writing this to persuade you to use a relaxer, but to give those that do a wake up call.

Heard enough? To receive your copy of this informative eighty-three page report and learn much, much more, you may ...

Dearest Customer,

I am so sorry that I must return your check. It has nothing to do with available funds. Your bank, Citibank, refused to verify availability of funds. I am just a small business woman. I have no support or recourse if your check does not cash. My bank will charge me $28 if your check is returned, not to mention your costs. Meanwhile you would have my product and the whole ordeal would have cost me $52 not including the cost of the printing. I deeply regret having to return your check. You may speak to your bank or you may send a money order. I stand behind my report and my money back guarantee is always available.

Subject: Secured Credit Card Order

Good Morning! I am interested in the "Black Women Rejoice" report. How secured are your online orders?

A
Subject: Re: Secured Credit Card Order
Credit card purchases have been an important concern for internet shoppers. I too am concerned and I have purchased the latest in on-line shopping called "shopping cart." All purchases are encrypted with the latest updates you will find anywhere on the internet. I have had no problems with this great system. All credit card numbers are removed from the internet moments after your purchase. My only advise to all internet shoppers (at any web site) is that you first check your lower screen for the padlock symbol which assure you an encrypted confidential form. If you do not see that closed lock, DO NOT TYPE ANYTHING CONFIDENTIAL on that page. While we are talking about confidentiality, you will be asked for your e-mail for contact reasons. It is always a good idea because it is the only way I can assure you responses to questions, or download updates. I keep this information in my files only. I NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, offer nor sell your personal information to anyone. I do not contact you unless it is in your best interest that I do so. When you purchase the book by credit card, you will have to include your address. This is for verification purposes only and this too is kept confidential. Yes, the credit card order page is secure. The book order page (the first page) is not secure, but it does not have to be. It is where you tell me what you want and how many. To complete your order you are sent to the credit card page, which IS secure, to make your purchase.

Simple, detailed information. For the most part, the reason our hair won't grow is because of what we do to the cottony texture we've been given. It is a misstatement to say our hair won't grow. Our hair grows as fast as that of any ethnic group on the planet. Our downfall has always been what we subject it to after it grows. We also don't institute the one measure that promotes hair growth. Well, if you are tired of running after new products, let's get you on track with the steps of hair care so we, as black women or black people, can ultimately prove "health and beauty" do indeed describe our hair.

Subject: Thinning Black Hair
My hair has been thinning in the crown for about a year. My stylist has recommended Nioxin products for regrowth. What do you think about these products.
-------- REPLY, End of original message --------

Hi *****,
***** I'm afraid thinning hair is different than the breaking hair I talk about. Since I am not a doctor, I cannot offer you the kind of information you need. Before you talk to your stylist, check any information available in the health issues or medical issues search engines. Also your family doctor should know the latest science on hair loss. I would expect a doctor would want to do a blood workup to make a real diagnosis. Again, let me say I am not a doctor and I don't want to steer you wrong.

Hi ****,
I know exactly how you feel and I promise you this is not a scam. The information is simple in concept, yet you must follow the details to the letter. If after three months you think this information does not work, you contact me and I will send back your money. Again I must emphasize that each issue must be understood and followed. And if for some reason you do not understand, I encouraged you to contact me and ask.
Q
Am I hearing this right. You have a product or an ingredient that actually work for black women's hair. If any way possible please send me your e-mail as soon as possible. Thank You.
Q
I WANT TO KNOW IF THIS WILL TAKE LONGER FOR EACH PERSON OR ARE THE RESULTS THE SAME .
-------- REPLY, End of original message --------

A
Hi *****,
In answer to both of your questions, this information is more of a necessary process that we, as black women have ignored for the sake of convenience. A lot depends on the texture of your hair. If it's coarse (tough), it may grow faster than other textures. The point is we must learn how to control and not rip and break and ruin our hair. You won't find any questionable procedures, but I hope you will learn how we are so unaware of how deliberately we destroy our hair when we could be just as easily be doing the opposite. Try it for six months. Do a before and after photo. The only thing I ask is that you read the information word for word. Follow each step. Although each separately is a step in the right direction, only by using the steps together will you find success.
Sincerely,
Brenda

Subject: Re: Hair growth secrets
Hi Brenda,
I came across your website while searching the internet on black hair care solutions. I am curious about your mysterious hair growth formula. I don't want to be skeptical, but your hair secret sounds too good to be true. I have struggled for the past decade to restore the beautiful shoulder length hair that I once had, however nothing has worked. My iron and protein deficiency, along with the misuse of harsh relaxers (i.e. overprocessed hair) has cause considerable damage to my hair. People continually ask me, "What happen to that beauty head of hair you had?" I reply, "I don't know". I am so sick of not knowing why my hair is in this state. I have tried practically everything, but nothing seems to work. My hair has been totally overworked - if you know what I mean!
I am aiming towards healthy hair, not so much about the length. I just want my hair to stop the growing-breaking cycle it has been going through for this past while.
Can you truly help me???
If you think that you have the answer to help, I would appreciate you responding to this e-mail. Believe me, money is not the issue here, because God knows I have spent a fortune trying to find the right solution to my problem. So like I said, Brenda if you think your hair secret can honestly work for me I would appreciate your input on this matter. Yours truly,
*********
P.S. Thank you.
A
Hi *********,
You and I have walked in the same shoes. Let me first talk money. Give me six months. If you still think I can't help you, you have my word and this e-mail that I will give back your money. If I knew long ago what I know now, I would have spent a mortgage payment for this information without a blink. This is not a formula. This is about what you do use, what you never use, and what steps (easy-to-do steps) make sense but have been overlooked forever. I only call it a secret because I charge money for it (I'm honest about that) and don't want to give away a successful course of action grown out of a lifetime of my own struggles. The product manufacturers will no longer be able to suck in black women every time a new product comes out because it's not about stuff, it's about a process. Trust me if you can. As a black woman I am very excited that I have come this far and I would never cheat my fellow sisters. That's all I can say to convince you.
Sincerely, Brenda
Q
Hi Brenda,
Thank you for replying so promptly to my e-mail. After sending you the e-mail, I wrote you a letter enclosed with (US$) to be mailed on my way to work on Monday. I thought to myself what can I lose. I've lost so much already. Why not try her secret. As long as its natural and safe I don't think much harm can come from that. Yes, Brenda I am willing to try your process. I hope I wasn't insultive to you earlier, I was just shocked at the low amount you charged. After all you know how costly those hair growth gimics can become when you are desparate for a solution. Thank you for you honesty. I truly appreciate your help. I just pray that this is the solution I have been searching for all these years.
May the Lord continue to shine His light along your path in life.
Yours truly,
********* P.S. I'll keep in touch to let you know how thing are going. Thanks again.
Q
Do you have testimonials of your product? If so I would like to hear them. Also, I work in a salon, if your product proves beneficial do you have a special rate for salon owners.

Q
Ms. Sliker,

By any chance would you have any testimonials from any satisfied = customers, What you sent me was basically people looking for a solution. = So if you could please send me that information.

***, you won't need a discount. This purchase is for a lifetime supply. This is not a carton of stuff. This is about what you do use, what you never use and what steps (easy to do steps) that make sense but have been overlooked forever. It's called changing how we treat and control our hair and what systems work. You are in a great position to pass this on to your customers after you put it into practice yourself. Hope this helps,
Brenda

Here are typical responses from some of my customers.

From: A grateful customer
Hi Brenda,

I just had to email you back and let you know just how thankful I am to you for discovering how women of color can do better for their hair! I was having so much shedding and breaking in my hair that hadn't stop since June of last year. Little by little my hair was breaking up the shaft and I tried everything but the RIGHT THINGS and my hair would not stop breaking. I was so confused and devastated. I just could not figure out what was doing this to my hair. I am using medication, but it's not supposed to take out your hair. Well, I purchased your report. I was so excited after reading how well you understand our hair and was ready to put your regimen to practive. It has been three days now, and my hair has only shed about 5 strands a day! My hair was so light and fluffy and HEALTHY LOOKING! Not weighed down. And most importantly, NO SHEDDING!!!! Before, I saw hair in my hands when I fingered my curls. I would never dream of picking up a comb. Now I comb my hair with a wide tooth comb ( without the sharp edges ) and my hair has stopped the shedding! My dermatologist gave me no hope today, just a mound of excuses for my hair loss such as the sun, my shampoos and everything else he could think of instead of saying I don't know! Well I don't care now. The shedding and breakage has stopped. I could kick myself when I think how much money I have spent on gobs of products when all I had to do was buy your report. That's the smartest money I have ever spent. I'm sorry for the long email, but I just had to be a testimony to your product. Thank you so much for caring to share this information. God bless you tenfold!

A grateful customer,

Dear Brenda,
First I'd like to congratulate you on being an articulate and savvy black female entrepenuer. I stumbled across your website and since I am always concerned about the state of my hair, I read your postings from beginning to end and then purchased your information. After reading this, a big smile came on my face as I realized I must be doing something right. I am a recovering "Rio" victim and the road to regaining my once thick, healthy hair was long and hard. I wore weaves and tried every notion, potion and lotion in the book. After what could truly have been several hundreds of dollars later (about a year), my hair was still damaged and had not grown much. I then just started thinking, I can't do this anymore, nothing was working. The "Rio" chemicals took my shoulder length thick hair and reduced it to an inch in length around the lateral sides and the back of my head. The hair at my crown faired a little better, but eventually it broke off too. My hair literally melted down off my head. I was horrified, depressed, crazy with anger and everything in between. That was about four years ago. It wasn't until the last two years that I incorporated this new way of thinking about my hair. Like yourself Brenda, I also did my own personal research and trial and error methodology and came up with "a plan". I am estatic to know that someone else has confirmed not only what I've thought about our hair but also the different techniques that no black beautician will tell you because and I quote " we can't do that to our hair". My hair is now almost to my shoulders, (the back of my hair grows longer than the sides) and is healthy, fluffy and vibrant. I now am incorporating some new techniques you outlined in your newsletter and hope to break the shoulder length threshold very soon. Thank you for reaffirming my convictions and giving all black women a new, fresh outlook on our hair emphasizing that it's not what we put on it, but the techniques we employ which will make the most difference in hair growth. I've emailed your website to all my skeptical friends, but you know what, they see my hair. They must realize I'm doing something right, and now I have proof. Thanks again and keep those tips and techniques coming girl

Sincerely,

Brenda,
I am very pleased with your system. So far, I have only lost three or four hairs maximum when I comb my hair. My hair is soft and fluffy! I love it! Thank you so much for coming up with this system! I think I spent about $200 on junk before I found it

Hi Brenda.
First of all, thank you for responding to my letter so promptly. When I received my copy of the book, I must admit that I was quite surprised because I was expecting some "BIG SECRET" not realizing that the "secret" was something that I should have been aware of all along, but neglected to practice on myself. Anyway, after reading through the book I followed it to the letter, as you so strongly suggested, and after a very short eight weeks -- so far not bad. I have seen an improvement in my hair. So all I have to say is, that was money well spent, and it was a small price to pay for something that I should have known all along.
Thanks again.

Dear Brenda,
I applaud your efforts and appreciate the minimal charge for this information. Knowledge is truly power, and you have equipped me with the tools I need to obtain the power to know my hair better, and properly care for my hair to achieve not only healthy results, but lengthy results as well to grow my hair back to the way it should be.
Thanks again Sis! Peace.

-Black Woman Rejoicing

This one just in!

Brenda it was nearly a year ago when I received your report. You were going out of town and trusted me enough to send the book before receiving my check. (You knew a sister needed help) :-). Brenda immediately after starting your program I found a wig that I thought was cute. But I continued to do everything that you said. First I fired my hairdresser. I refused to pay her to continue to take my hair out. I use the system, and relaxed my hair every four weeks. It grows so fast these days until I can't go longer than 4 weeks. Brenda, I LOVE MY HAIR!!!!. It has out grown the wig, so when I want short hair I wear the wig. I am addicted to treating my hair the right way.
I couldn't find your address and finally came across it today. Thank You Brenda, I am also happy to see you are doing well in your business. I need some of your cards, because people believe it was the wig that caused my hair to grow but I know the secret.

From: Brenda
My own testimonial
I waited a long time to make this information public because it was important that my methods produce consistent success. Using a five year old photo (as myself before) there is no doubt I have found a process (ignoring advertisers' product of the month or miracle of our day) that establishes what makes OUR hair thrive. I take pictures of me now and put them on my web page. As a matter of fact I just sent a new roll out for development. I take pictures over and over because sometimes it amazes even me to see my hair the longest it has ever been. Although I have started with a five-year old photo, the results you see are over a fourteen month period.
As my testimonial, this is what I now know.

  1. Any task below the waist that requires bending over to achieve now has my hair flopping in the way. I must drop what I'm doing with at least one hand to control the hair population just so I can see. Stupid, but true.

  2. If I am out on a windy day, both hands full of course, the wind will blow my hair across my face and it will stick full on my lipstick. Again, I must let go of something to correct the problem.

  3. People making conversation now ask me what country I'm from. That's unbelievable to me. Real black people of the US of A wouldn't have my kind of hair (nappy yet long). So I gladly point out that I am just ordinary black folk! The next question asked each and every time, is "What part?" Okay, so I'm from Pennsylvania. They think if they go there they'll find more like me. :)

  4. When my husband puts his arm around my neck, I can't move my head because my hair is under his arm. I whine and that's the end of my hug.

  5. Best of all when I take off a collared shirt, the feel of my hair on my shoulders is like cotton. Sometimes I have to go look in the mirror because, in my lifetime, I've never known that sensation.

Do exactly what I've done because I need YOU for my testimonial. I have others writing to me trying to change the rules a little. My testimonial says, "I have nothing to change." I am looking for someone who can read what I have written, follow, and contact me in three or more months with the results. You will also notice that my report does not send you down some path of no return. You can do, not do, change, or invent whatever direction you want. You contacted me because I can tell you what combinations of common sense steps have the best results.

Well *******, that is all I can offer. I hope it is of some help. Brenda

  6. I almost forgot about the big bug theory. While minding my own business, I notice out of the corner of my eye a big bug heading right at me. I reach out to swat at it, only to find out it is just a piece of my hair caught in motion because of a breeze. To catch hair unexpectedly in my peripheral vision makes me look pretty stupid. A lifetime of short hair does not prepare you for these minor twitches. So if you, too, want to twitch and complain, I suggest you find out what it's all about.

Q
Subject: The Hair Report

Dear Ms. Sliker:
I would like to know how you found out about all of this information? Do hairdressers know the same information as you?

Thank you,

A
Believe it or not *******, I had to take some time to organize my thoughts to answer your questions. I do get a lot of questions, many of which are the same, yet asked differently, requiring a specific answer. If I sound repetitive at times, it is always to clarify for everyone what my customers have questions about. So, what's so hard about divulging the source of my material? My web site verifies there is nothing left on the face of the earth I haven't tried for hair growth. Years and years and years of faithfully following instructions proved no results. *******, I just figured this out on my own. That's right. I used many brain cells trying to understand why one side of my head had longer hair than the other. Why would my white sisters' hair grow and mine wouldn't? Why were my bad hair days so numerous? See-through hair seems to be the trademark of the black woman. WHAT COULD WE ALL BE DOING SO WRONG? I researched, I experimented, and I documented the results. I have no question in my mind or in my report. I HAVE FOUND THE SECRET TO UNLOCKING THE GROWTH POTENTIAL OF OUR HAIR! As soon as you read the book you, too, will see exactly how insightful this material is and, if followed absolutely, can only prove successful. Now you can believe the advertisers as we have done all of our lives if that gives you satisfaction. Or you can listen to a nappy-headed black girl that has truly been there and find out what we should have been doing all along. You, your mother, your grandmother, and your great-grandmother will read and question the way we have always done business as black women.

*******, I do not know how many of the people that contact me are hairdressers. I am not a hairdresser. The hairdressers I knew usually told me the opposite. However, not one... not one person has written to tell me I was wrong. I would write more but my time is horribly limited. I hope I have answered your questions.

O.K. you have won me over I am willing to try your hair care solution....I must say I have a pretty good grade of hair already. Q
Hi,
I came accross your home page while browsing the web for black hair care products. While your arguments on growth of black hair was impressive, I'm very sceptic. Do you offer a formula or just information on how to grow your hair? I have shoulder length hair which was achieved through giving my hair a break from extensions, while my hair is pretty good shape, it is very fine. Does your report offer any advise on this topic?
A
Hi ********,
I often answer the question, "What's the gimmick?" This is a great deal of information. You can go to the beauty supply store and buy all kinds of products that promise to make your hair longer, stronger, thicker, more resistant to breaking, shinier, and silkier. If you can just tell me the ones that really do all that, I will take my web page down. I've been eating hype all my life which distracted me from understanding what my hair was made of, what its tendencies were, what everyday products were destroying it, what was right was really wrong and what was said to be wrong, was really right. Anyone can spend a lifetime learning what I have about our black hair or you can follow what I have found and incorporate my knowledge right away. I have been providing this page since September 1998 and I have yet to have my first dissatisfied customer. I hope this information will be of some use. Let me also add that "Yes" I am for real. I really do exist. However I am sorry to say I can no longer answer every e-mail that requests to hear back from "a real person". I more than understand your concern about truth in advertising since I, too, surf the web. Please understand I am unable to devote time to proving my validity and still answer or expand on buyer hair questions. Just know I will be there for YOU when you need information from me. Let me thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Q
Hello Ms. Sliker,
I am a black girl who is now in college and have been trying to grow my hair since I can remember. I have tried everything from jherri curls, relaxers, and weaves to promote hair growth. I currently have braids in my hair. My hair continues to break off because I have become dependant on the relaxer to straighten my hair and my hair seems to break whenever I don't relax it every month. I am so hopeless at this point that I don't even feel pretty anymore. At one point in my life my hair started to grow nicely, but then I continued to damage it with the use of permanent coloring which stripped my hair and literally tore it from the roots; from that time on my hair has continued to remain damaged and will not seem to grow...I don't know what to do...I hope this will help somehow.

Hi *.*., You are right on target when you start to realize you must stop doing those destructive, habitual, evil things to your hair. In my report I give details why we shouldn't do what we've been doing all our lives. I also offer techniques that have nothing to do with a trip to the beauty supply store. One step in particular that most black women HATE HATE HATE to think of doing has everyone e-mailing me thanks for the detailed information. By the way, I do still relax my hair, but I definitely make up for it in other ways. All of this information will be of excellent use to you. You can find the same information at my new domain www.BlackWomenRejoice.com.
Good luck,
Brenda

Subject: Your report

In response to your report that I did spend american $ for....I was wondering, what exactly are you trying to say? This response is not meant to sound harsh, nor is it meant to offend, but I think you offer very little advice at all. Between you discussing your personal experiences on how great your hair looks now, you've basically lost your helpful suggestions in a sea of jibberish. There are a lot of us out here who are looking for legitimate answers on how to grow our hair but you really aren't answering anyone at all. You do offer some helpful hints, but can you be blunt and cut to the chase? Why is it that you won't say exactly what you use in your hair? How come you don't explain exactly what you do to your hair EVERY day. Yes, you throw suggestions around, but that's it. It makes one wonder if you are just doing it to grab some fast cash. Everything in your report is mostly on the opening of your website. How many times do you feel the need to be repetetive to fill space. Why did we have to pay our money for a few minor topics. It's ridiculous. I suggest that if you truly want to help us all, BE SPECIFIC. TELL us what to use. Don't use big words and articulate sentence structures to achieve one point. We all know to what extent our hair is damaged....we need you to tell us how correct it. If this wasn't a get rich quick scheme, you would offer your advice for free, because the best rewards for helping out another human being are the riches in heaven.
Sincerely,
(Canada)

Ok, Ms. Canada, I am very good with constructive criticism. But I am afraid you have gone beyond respect for others. It's not free because all of this was not free to put together. I have helped a lot of people and they have gotten more than their money's worth. What I have to say is not so difficult to comprehend if you want to take the time to study each section in detail. Your hair will grow if you do these things. How much more clear can I be? If you have not tried any of the steps or wish you had thought of it first, then I can understand your insensitive attitude. What products I use on my hair are immaterial. You have missed the point. Nothing that comes in a jar or bottle will grow hair, so why would I advertise products when the real issue is removing the destructive nature of how we do business? You can e-mail me (as I have already said) if you feel you need to know what shampoo and conditioner I use. You can use my shampoo and conditioner for years and it won't make your hair grow. If you read the FAQ's you already know what I use. I am sorry you are so disappointed in the book which obviously contained information you didn't want to hear. Perhaps I should tell you the same old bull that we have all been conditioned to believe about our hair. Maybe that will give you more satisfaction than the truth. Only two days ago I received an e-mail completely divergent of yours. Here's what she said:

So as to not repeat e-mails, see letter from "A grateful customer" from page 9.

Well Brenda, Justly so, I realize I owe you an apology. So, please forgive me. I have been so frustrated with my hair that your report felt like a last resort. My only hope. My problem is that I always need to see results. My main purpose of that letter was not to personally offend you. But I needed to prove to myself that there is A person behind this computer screen. I wrote you not expecting you to respond. You have given me all the proof i need to know that this is not false. I regret that my anger was so prevelant. See where I am coming from. I am 21 years old. I have suffered from hair breakage since the age of 5. So, can you see yet why I am so ready and willing to attack everyone who gets my hopes up. I have followed your report to a T for a week. . . .

There is much more to this story with MS Canada. It is continued in the "REPORT" with Part 2 of : YELLING AT BRENDA

Earn Commissions

SUBJECT: Commission program

Hello Friends,

I am very happy that you are participating in the Black Women Rejoice Commission Program. The system is very simple. I will produce and send you a set of business cards with a code on the back which is uniquely yours. If someone expresses interest, by using your code when purchasing (internet or mail), that code will tell me you were the contact and you will earn $2.00 for that sale. That's a 10% commission. I will not be producing more business cards because the expense with different codes would be too much. However the code can be used forever. If your customers want to make money themselves, I will issue them a card as well with their own code. That is how I keep track. The commission program is only for women that have been using the system for at least three months. Results tell their own story. Only because you know that this system works, you are the best expert. Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,

Brenda
