Nothing Personal but ...
I receive many letter that are just not sure they want to do business with me. So they hurt my feelings and I try not to over react. Don't try this at home!!

Why its
so shocking is that someone like myself is really looking for a solution for
having better hair and longer hair. That is my hair,
which IS the point. That is why I created this site. I teach how to grow
our hair. You have a lot to read on my site before you call me a fraud. It's
ironic that after all this work that someone, not often Thank God, would see
this as a hairpiece. I purposely used real not doctored up pictures to dispel
the inclination that this is not real but Oh well, so is life. Sorry I didn't
produce some product of promise telling you that it will grow your hair. Seems
we as black women will run out and buy that long before we would take the time to
learn what our hair is really all about and find permanent solutions to hair
growth. If you disliked that picture, you're really going to hate this
one. I even managed to loose a few pounds. If you just wanted to find out
if I was real, well it worked. Now I must go back and ask you and especially
God for forgiveness for not treating you with love and understanding. If you
want to learn how to grow your hair, this is the place. Sorry for the attitude.
AFTER I SENT THIS EMAIL OFF I THOUGHT TO MY SELF,
‘WHAT IF SHE POSTS MY RANTINGS ON SOME BULLETIN BOARD??? WELL THEN I HAD TO
ADMIT, THIS IS JUST ME. I WANT PEOPLE TO TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT, BUT DON’T YELL AT
ME. I AM SOO SENSITIVE.
Sent: Saturday, April 03, 2004 12:47 PM Brenda, Where are the rest of the
before and after pictures?? Also, my sister and I would like to contact
you by phone, is that possible? We are very interested in your book, but
need a little reassurance before we go giving away our hard earned money.
Sincerely,
Interested, but concerned Hello, I have found that
well-intentioned women find it difficult to send me pictures of themselves
before, to be posted on my website for all to see. So I stopped trying to
encourage that point. Although this is a business of mine, it is not big enough
to dedicate a telephone line to it. I travel a great deal and it would be
impossible for me to have calls coming to me at work. I answer questions by
email because I know when I get home; I have time to think about the question,
research if necessary, and give my best answer. I also make sure if it is
a question that many women have, I include it on my web site. I have a great
deal of information there, because I can be so long winded, it helps me not
have to reinvent the wheel with every correspondence. Sincerely, Brenda
Sent: Monday, February 23, 2004 4:50 PM Hi Brenda, I'm just curious why you
pride yourself in being mistaken to have Spanish heritage. If
someone saw your hair and mistook you for straight out of the motherland, would
you be angry? Spanish people do have lovely hair, but so do people of
African descent. We used to embrace the beauty of our hair until the
white man brought us to the U.S. in chains and "convinced" us how
ugly we are. Now, we hate our beautifully unique hair. Why can't we
be happy with our hair unless someone mistakes us for a less African race or
accuses us of having a good weave or a texturizer? My very highly
textured hair grows beautifully with lots of tlc and a healthy routine.
The same is true for a growing number of black women today. Check this
out: www.nappturality.com. I hope you find it enlightening.
Take care, Read it again.
Read past the sound bite. I'm not trying to look Spanish. That was not the
point. I wrote this book to
simply get the information out there since no one else saw fit to rescue us
from our dilemma. I prefer to speak my mind and loose a sale than to let
challengers that are not knowledgeable about my program sound as if they are. Sincerely, BRENDA |
